13. Navigating through COVID-19: Involving team members to set your course Hi. I’m Eric Michrowski and we are Propulo. Operations Strategic Advisors working with Fortune 500 organizations that are committed to the safety of their employees, their customer experience and differentiating through the heart of their operations. 8 offices, 15 years experience, advice backed by science.
Today given the global pandemic, COVID-19, we are doing an overtake on all of our channels to provide real-world advice for leaders that need to figure out how to stay stable, stay course and protect their employees and customers through these difficult times.
As we navigate through these Black Swan events that we are currently confronted with it becomes more important than ever to involve our teams, to involve our team members by exploring ideas. I talked previously about the importance of looking at opportunities in times of crisis, encourage your team members to do the same. More people trying to solve issues, finding vulnerabilities or find opportunities the better you will be.
The role of the leader is obviously to navigate through crises like this but it’s also to tap into the talent that you have inside your organization to find paths forward. Even if it’s remote; because we don’t want to encourage group workshops, but start thinking about how your team members can bring ideas to the table. They are also living through uncertainty, but the more they start focusing on hope and opportunities the better everyone will be.
This channel will provide at least daily advice and ideas. We encourage you to go to our other social sites for more insights.
