Social distancing isn't always the best option.

Social distancing isn't always the best option. I am not quite the age of those who need to beware of getting the coronavirus, but I am within just a couple of years of it. I have not been diagnosed with any underlying health issues, but I have been told many times that my blood pressure is high and should be checked out. We are being warned that high blood pressure is one of those underlying health issues that makes catching the coronavirus more dangerous.

Social distancing is recommended, especially for grandparents; so what does one do when your kids need a break from your grandkids? And what if one of the grandchildren might be a special needs, super challenging little one that can wear down even the most high energy of parents?

I went against recommendations and did not keep my distance. At this point, it seems I only have about a 7-10% chance of getting the virus, so helping my family was worth the risk.

option.
