The International Olympic Committee (IOC) might be forced to delay Tokyo 2020 with Canada and Australia pulling out of the Games. Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe admitted to parliament on March 23, 2020, that considering the safety of athletes at the event, a decision to postpone may be “unavoidable”.
