In which Micheal attempts to take care of William as a child, Mrs Afton isn’t happy about it, Chris and Elizabeth are just excited they have someone to play with. Imma explain the ending and why William was a child. So in the Blood // Water GLMV it is shown how William became trapped by the corruption. As an attempt to escape he broke off a part of himself. That part being a piece of his past. His child self could not remember anything about his future or why he was there, he wasn’t lying about that. His attempt failed though as the corruption came and reclaimed the missing piece of William. At the end you see William trapped by the corruption. That’s where he has been for the 2 weeks he’s been misisng, he can’t get out.
