This year I’ve challenged myself to try a new artistic medium each month for the entire year. This month (April) I’m doing something I’ve always felt really intimidated by… acrylic on canvas! This piece is the very first thing I’ve ever painted, and I wanted to document the entire thing, mistakes and all. It’s crazy now when I watch it back, getting to see myself figure it out as I go along. I think it’s good to be reminded of what it feels like to learn something for the first time.
