Simple Vegetable Pulao Recipe|Quick & Easy main course in 30 minutes| No Masala, No Garlic Ingredients:
2 cups basmati rice
1 cup chopped carrots
1 cup chopped beans
1 cup frozen peas
2 sliced onions
1 teaspoon sugar
4-5 tablespoons of oil
1 teaspoon of turmeric powder
1 lemon
Salt to taste

Preparation method:
Simultaneously, heat oil in 2 pans, and add sliced onions to one and beans and carrots to the other. Saute the beans and carrots for a few minutes, add rice and keep stirring for about a minute. Add salt to taste, turmeric powder and 3 cups of water (1.5 cups of water per cup of rice) and cook for 10 minutes. Add the frozen peas and cook for another 10 - 15 minutes and finish by squeezing a lemon to it when it is done. Add sugar and salt to the onions to get nice caramalized and crispy onions. Garnish the pulao with these onions and serve with raita or any curry of your choice.
