How does the Holy Spirit dwell in individuals, as well as, in His Assemblies?

How does the Holy Spirit dwell in individuals, as well as, in His Assemblies? The Scriptures are specific concerning the Holy Spirit’s relationship to both “individuals,” as well as, to His Assemblies. Romans 8:9 distinguishes the Assembly (a plurality of individuals “having” Spirit of Christ) as the one who is “housing” God’s Spirit (Temple-Holy of holies’ language) from the individuals who comprise the Assembly (in Rome to whom the letter was written). Christ’s Spirit in us does not come to be us. Nor does Christ’s Spirit deify individuals, nor the Assembly of individuals, rather, as the individual is “having” Christ’s Spirit, the Assembly is “housing” God’s Spirit. A very clear, and succinct expression of the correlation between Christ and the interests of His Father which He served while on earth as the man Christ Jesus, and now as the exalted Lord seated at His right hand. Revelation states that Christ “conducts” among His churches (assemblies). Individuals “having” the Spirit of Christ, are favorably disposed toward the high and holy honor to be “housing” the Spirit of God, the Father of Jesus. Although individuals are now having Christ’s Spirit-the Holy Spirit of God- they have not become new incarnations of God. The Spirit of Christ sanctifies believers, He does NOT deify them. In the new birth, called regeneration, He does NOT make us eternal, self-existent creatures. The new birth does not result in another “god.” Although God creates new creatures in Christ Jesus, we are still creatures, His “new” creation.” Consequently, then, that which He re-creates, like that which He creates, is neither an eternal being, nor a self-existent one.
