Coronavirus: Matt Hancock says UK 'on plan' to ease lockdown further on July 4 Health Secretary Matt Hancock tells Sky's Sophy Ridge that the government has a "clear plan for how we get out of the worst parts of lockdown safely" and that "further measures" will be set out on July 4 "if it's safe to do so".

Asked about pubs reopening and what drinking in them might look like, he said measures that could be taken include wearing a face mask and changing the seating arrangements.

"I wouldn't rule that out," he added when asked if people might have to register before going to a pub.
