In the COVID-19 era, we have seen lots of innovative methods to prevent the spread of Corona Virus. Of this, one of its most important step is the washing of hands. This video is about the initiative taken by the Youth Organisation of the Rachümi Khel, Viswema Village, Kohima, Nagaland in setting up a locally made foot-pedalling hand washing machine which is placed near its Community Toilets. Placement near the community toilets is important because more than half of its village population still utilises them. A great example set by a Village community. Hope this easy-to-make equipment can also be installed for public use both in rural and urban areas. Stay safe & wash your hands regularly!!!
