Should dogs be let loose to run wild after scared jack rabbits in Bismarck, North Dakota? Im a little disgusted to see this behavior by a dog owner. Its bad enough watching dog owners send their dogs after squirrels (at least the squirrels can run up trees). I already am not a fan of those who ignore their dog feces on walking trails and loose dogs. Deliberately chasing jack rabbits in such a convenient location is disturbing. The dog is likely getting well-fed and taken care-of by the owner to have the kinds of energy needed to over-take the wild animals. While, on the other hand, the jack rabbit has to live within its means (off of what the land provides it). The rabbits dont seem to leave this area. They prefer the land for some reason, digging their little pits in the ground and spending all day at.

I would compare the dog owner to a hunter, whom is the perfect type of person to also work as a cop. Well-funded cops also can ellicit this kind of predatory behavior upon the poor people. i see the dog and owner as cops and rabbits as poor people.
