Welcome today to a video with a difference as we venture up to Manchester to collect a jointly purchased motor vehicle with the intentions of competing competatively in the 4 hours of Lochgelly endurance race at Driftland in Scottland. The rules are simple; the car must be no more potent than a 1.4 litre, it must remain in an unmodified state and come ready to rock with 'budget tyres' - what could possibly go wrong?!
When the car seller told us to meet him at a petrol station somewhere in Manchester, where the car had been stored for some time we knew that we were in for a bumpy ride! So join us on our adventure to collect one of the finest motor vehicles man has ever created and whitness our reactions when we learn some *ahem* interesting things about it's history... Did we pay too much for this car? Yes, yes we did.
Stay tuned for part 2 when we take an indepth look at the car, coming soon..
