With a belief that anybody can fly he is working hard to promote Paramotoring across different countries, and help enable peoples' dream to take to the sky! Pascal wants paramotors to play an important role in global reforestation and combat the adverse impact of climate change. He is extremely thankful to the people who have helped him climb on to the stage. Pascal Campbell-Jones is one of those rare pilots who began flying when he was only eight years old. Born in Wales in 1983, by the age of 14 he would regularly drop into school on his paramotor. After he left school he decided to work in the flying business with his family who owned one of the UK’s largest paragliding centres at the time. His father is an innovative paraglider and aircraft designer responsible for changing the sport of paramotoring by introducing and pioneering ‘Reflex wing’ technology making the sport safer and more accessible for all.
Today, Pascal runs a leading paramotor aerobatics and air racing team. He recruits coaches and flies with the top pilots throughout the year in different events all over the world. Pascal has two children and lives in France. This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community. Learn more at
