This is another video in my SOCIAL MEDIA VS REAL LIFE video series, this time taking a look at the damaging effect social media influencers flexing on their followers can have. Now I want to make it clear that i’m not against designer items or people who covet them, what I am against is people going into serious debt to purchase these items because they think they ‘need’ them or because they feel like they’re failing at life if they don't have them. So many of the luxury influencers get their designer products either completely free, or heavily discounted, and there are also influencers that are hundreds of thousands of dollars in debt trying to maintain the illusion of a luxurious lifestyle.
