Finding your balance in Keyboard Performance *TIPS AND TRICKS* - Mahroof Sharif 2021

Dear Music Lovers, Artists and Connoisseurs,

I wanted to share my humble take on a few aspects of my performance and vision which I see sometimes is not taken into consideration.

There are many ways to play and perform a composition but here are my views on it.

Please see this simple video of the examples:
1-Basic- showing the purest form of the composition with no additives.
2-Soulful "Maza"- adding your own expression and soul to the performance.
3-Technical "Tayari"- using technique to show advancements in performance.
4-Balance of all - the hardest to reach but the most important.

A well balanced performance of all of these elements is the goal of every artist.
Sometimes simplicity is needed, technicality or sometimes SILENCE!

I have yet to reach this balance and may never reach it, but I continue to work hard towards this goal.

Hope this brings some insight and perspective of my vision of performing.
