How To: Eavesdrop on VoIP Conversations

In this tutorial, I am going to teach you how to eavesdrop on VoIP conversations. To capture the incoming and outgoing VoIP audio streams, I'll be using Wireshark and Ettercap in BackTrack 5.

Warning: To avoid prosecution, it is recommended that you only perform this attack on your own network and VoIP system. Eavesdropping is a federal crime under the Wiretap Act and Electronic Communications Privacy Act. If you record any incoming or outgoing communications, you should inform the recipient or caller that he or she is being recorded.
