We often clean cerumen (earwax) from ear canals using curettes and irrigation in our office. This case was very successful. There was a trace of cerumen left on this patient. We do not have in-house suction which would be ideal for removing the last little piece without causing undo injury to the very fragile mucosal lining of the ear canal.
