[PART 3: Roberts] That's Winnie they're talking about blasting! - Hogan's Heroes 3x5 Season 3, Episode 5 - Funny Thing Happened on the Way to London

Just in the last few days I have been taking a fair bit of heat in the comments on some of the videos. I've left a few of them up, but the particularly nasty ones I've deleted.

I wanted to address a few points brought up and will probably repost this over the next few days as well:

NOT DELETING THE P0RN BOTS FAST ENOUGH:
I am sorry they are posting in the comments and I do try to delete them as I find them. They do most of their posting between 3AM and 5AM PDT, which is usually when I am sleeping. Today YouTube's automated filtering caught 74 of them and I deleted another 15 or so... I'm trying to get rid of the things and I am muting them from future postings.

HOW DARE I ASK FOR TIPS/DONATIONS:
Honestly, I ask because I need to - I do need the money, but also need it to keep the channel going.
If I could monetize the channel I would probably slap an ad on to the end of almost every video - the whole process of ripping videos, watching, rewatching, finding cut points, editing, processing, uploading, waiting for YouTube to process, doing post processing... it can take a fair bit of time up each day.
I am sorry that my asking offends some people... but as said, I have to.
Heck, I've been wondering if I should try setting up a patreon :( :( :(

POSTING FIVE MINUTE CLIPS IS STUPID - DO IT RIGHT OR DON'T DO IT AT ALL:
I cover this in the description of every video, but I guess a lot of people don't read the descriptions. These episodes won't enter the public domain until some time in the 2040s or 2050s and because its CBS they have YouTube keeping an eye out for their content. A couple of days ago I reposted some missing episodes: because one was 5 minutes and 47 seconds it received a copyright strike and the other was only 5 minutes and 0.7 seconds and it too got a copyright strike.

WHY DO YOU PUT THE TRANSITIONS AT THE END OF EACH CLIP:
Those are there because at the end of each clip if you are watching on the YouTube app or on a computer browser I put in a video link to the next part (and the previous) to that clip and that gives the viewer 3-5 seconds after the clip is over to click to go to the next part.
[This complaint comes from users who are trying to download the clips with software to recombine the episodes and don't want to have to edit out my transitions]

ARE THESE TV RIPS? THE VIDEO QUALITY IS POOR ON SOME OF THEM:
These are ripped from DVDs and some of them just are lower quality (they didn't have digital recording back in the 1960s). But also, when I process the clips on my end I do lower the video quality - this speeds up the process and reduces the file size.
I've actually been thinking of reducing the quality even more - as it is now each 5 part clip is about 350-400 MB in size!

SUPPORT
Since I can't monetize the channel and show no ads, any support is greatly appreciated!
You can donate to the channel at:

CHANNELS
Little Oggie: For Hogan's Heroes episodes and clips.

Tiny Oggie: For Get Smart episodes and clips.

Mini Oggie: For classic shows like F-Troop, McHale's Navy and The Phil Silvers Show (Sgt Bilko).

WHY ARE THESE ONLY 5 MINUTE CLIPS? CAN'T YOU POST A FULL EPISODE?
Unfortunately these episodes are part of the YouTube copyright algorithm - if I post a clip that goes even one second over the five minute mark then the video will be blocked. As it is now the videos all get copyright notices on them so they can't be monetized but are still visible to all.
